GOLESTAN - KURDISTAN PROVINCE:
>From 2004 until now, 48 factories have been closed
in Golesten’s province and all of workers from those
factories have been unemployed .The closed factories
have been transferred to private sections.
BEHSHAHR
According to received news from city of Behshahr in
Mazandaran Province, 1700 workers of Iransadra's
ship-building company have struck since 1st of
February, 2005.
These workers have asked for paying their delayed
wages and executing the classification employments
plan.
PAKDASHT
In defiance of repeated objections by workers of
Sazmayeh's company in Pakdasht, nobody investigates
to their problems. 238 workers of the above-named
company have been unemployed and also they have not
received any wage more than one year.
These workers have protested in front of the regime
organizations several times, but no body takes care
to their problems.
SAGHEZ
A workers movement activist in the name of Borhan
Divangar will be trailed by the Saghez revolutionary
court. He had been arrested in the course of
workers' day ceremonies in this city in 2004.
SANANDAJ
Workers of Shaho's weaving factory are going to
protest in front of the parliament and
Ahmadinezhad’s office in Tehran. Many of these
factory workers were discharged because they had not
signed up the temporary contracts. Should say that
they have not received their wages since December
2005.
TABRIZ
Workers of Aras's factory are continuing strike
because they have not received any wage and
benefits. The Tabriz department of labour
responsible(s) and also employers had promised to
pay workers' wages but they did not put in practice
to their promises.
CITY OF DASHTI
On 23th of February,2006 road construction workers
gathered in front of Iranian regime organizations in
city of Dashti. Those workers asked for
investigating to their problems. The objector
workers said that they had not received their wages
in the past months. The road construction workers
have no insurance also they never get any money in
lieu of over time.
GHAZVIN PROVINCE
1- On the basis of sent news from the above-named
province, Iransarang Company was closed and its
workers were unemployed. In the course of past years
about 16 companies have been shut down and thousands
workers have been unemployed in Ghazvin province.
2- Workers of Ghazvin's Fernakh & Mahnakh company
gathered in front of this company On 20th of
February, 2006. These protester workers have not got
any wage for two months. It is necessary to explain
that 1500 workers have been discharged by employers
in the past year.
LORESTAN PROVINCE
Lorestan teachers have not received their wages more
than 5 months. These teachers have talked with
ministry of education responsible(s) about their
difficulties but they have not got any answer from
the above-mentioned ministry yet.
FARIMAN'S CUBE SUGAR FACTORY
According to received news from Khorasan province,
hundreds workers had gathered in front of the
above-named factory at protest to unpaid wages.
After that their employer reported them to the
police and all of them were arrested by the regime
disciplinary forces about 24 hours. This factory has
1700 workers.
ALVAND'S ELECTRIC BULB FACTORY IN ALBORZ
On 20th of February, 2006 hundred workers gathered
in front of this factory then they went to
governor's office in city of Alborz . These workers
have not got their unpaid wages more than ten
months. Should say that more than 4 hundred workers,
have been discharged in the past few years.
MAHRIZ'S CEMENT FACTORY IN YAZD
On 26th of February, 2006 workers of this factory
protested as compared with unpaid wages. These
workers announced that they had not received their
wages for 5 months.
The objector workers asked for investigating to
their problems. Should say that 20 workers were
discharged in 4 months ago.
KASHAN
The retired workers of weaving factory gathered in
front of governor's office of the above-named city.
They said that they had not got their old age
pension from 2004 until now. These retired workers
have referred to the regime agencies several times
but their problems have not been dissolved yet. This
factory has 1350 retired workers.
