people were arrested in Adana
ADANA,
Kurdistan-Turkey,
(DIHA) -41 of those who were taken under
custody by polices who had broken the door of DTP
Adana City building and entered in were arrested and
sent to Kurkculer Prison.
100 person out of 232 who were taken under custody
in the raid to the Adana City building of Democratic
Society Party (DTP) were brought before the office
of public prosecutor. 50 of suspects who were
brought to Adana judiciary were released for their
ages are under 18.
50 person were dispatched to sentry judge for crimes
of ' Resistance to assigned person' and ' ' Being
member of an organiztion'. While 9 whose process of
statement had continued until late night were
released, 4 were arrested and sent to Kurkculer
Prison.
132 person who were taken under custody in the same
raid and held in the Adana Security Directorate are
expected to be brought before public prosecutor
today.
Death threat to our correspondents
VAN,
Kurdistan-Turkey, Feb 18 (DIHA) -Our correspondents
Siddik Guler and Erdogan Altan were called by
unidentified person and were threatened with death
for not to follow more the events of Semdinli.
Siddik Guler from our correspondents of Van in the
district of Semdinli which he had gone for following
a news was called by a secret number. Guler who
stated that he was threatened with death by the
person who telephoned him said that:
' The person who telephoned was speaking fluent
Turkish, He is in the age of 25-30 as I understand
from his voice. He said that unhand , it is enough.
Has not it sufficed what you have written, you will
not write a line after that about Semdinli and will
not enter to here. I will kill you.
4 times personal search
Guler who said that he was constantly cursed said
that he was searched 4 times by soldiers for the
reason of 'denunciation' until he reached to
district of Yuksekova in his return from Semdinli.
Guler stated that he will make crime annoucement to
office of public prosecutor.
Our correspondent Erdogan Altan also said that after
return of Guler from Semdinli in the time when he
departed from the bureau this time he was telephoned
by same person and threatened with death. He stated
that the person who called said that ' Your friend
is a coward he had closed his phone, I warn you,
too. If you will come again to Semdinli you will see
what will happen and he had cursed to him, he said.
Altan who stated that the threats are the business
of those who are afraid of the facts about Semdinli
incident to be revealed said that he will make crime
announcement to office of public prosecutor.
Military activity in the border of Sirnak
SIRNAK,
Kurdistan-Turkey,
Feb 17 (DIHA) -According to information
gathered within 10 days the tank, military vehicles
and military tractor trailer who had passed from the
border gate of Habur after waiting for a while had
moved to unidentified place.
While it was stated that within 10 days 5 military
tractor trailer, 2 each tank and military vehicle
had passed to otehr side of the border and the
military vehicles had gone to the Siyah Kaya region
between the border of Iran and Iraq.
