Clash was occured between police and protestors
ISTANBUL, Feb
12, (DIHA) -About 300 people who came together in
the district of Yunusemre before the cem house to
protest bringing of Kurdish People's leader Abdullah
Ocalan to Turkey had marched with pancarte writing '
An end to international plot, no to life without
Ocalan'.
The group which carried the flags of democratic
confederalism and posters of Ocalan had faced the
intervention of police who came with the armed
combat cars.With the countering of police with
stones and molotov cocktails by protesters a clash
had occured.
The death threat in the district which Hamit
Yıldırım from JITEM works
SIRNAK, Feb 12,
(DIHA) - After revealing that Hamit Yıldırım who is
claimed to pull the trigger in the incidence of
killing Musa Anter is working as a rural guard in
the Kumcatı district of Sirnak, It was claimed that
the members of JITEM had threatened ex-members of
DEHAP with death.
It was claimed that after revealing that Hamit
Yildirim whom the confessor Abdulkadir Aygan said
that he pulled the trigger in killing of Musa Anter
is working as a rural guard the pressures on
ex-members of DEHAP have increased in the district.
The ex-member of DEHAP Nesim Benzer said that he
took the sensation that JITEM will kill the members
of DEHAP for they transcribed Hamit Yildirim. Benzer
who stated that he received also death threats said
that for the threats many families had left the
district. Benzer who stated that those who had taken
Hamit Yildirim to the job will be responsible from
what will hapen in the district said that ' We want
this event to be enlightened I hope necessary
sensitivity will be showen. The intellectuals had
made statement for Musa Anter. We expect the
intellectuals to Kumcatı, he said.
His family make transport business of the military
It emerged that Hamit Yildirimwho is behind the many
murders whose agent is not known in cities like
Diyarbakir, Sirnak and Batman took part in the '
Guclukonak massacre' which 11 person died and
realized in 1996. While some part of Yildirim family
who is from Jirki tribe live in the district of
Darahini, Sirnak, Hamit Yildirim had settled in
Kumcatı by the consent of head of the rural guards.
It was stated that Hamit Yildirim had circulated
with the identity given by JITEM and was taken the
salary of rural guard until 6 month ago. Also it
emerged that the brother of Yildirim Emin Yildirim
had entered to bids of military and still made
transport business of OPET Petroleum Cooperation
which the military is a partner.
The claim of child torture: 4 of his teeth were
broken
MARDIN,
Kurdistan-Turkey, Feb 11, (DIHA) - two children
claimed that they were beaten by the police while
coming home from the shop, and that they underwent
violence in the Nusaybin's Police Department. 'You
are the professionals that made the Molotov
cocktail' was said to the children. Because of the
police threats, no beating was written in the
doctor's report.
In the blocking made by the police in Nusaybin's
Abdullkadir Pasa and Yeni Turan neighborhoods
because of the protests that took place yesterday,
two children were beaten up by the police and then
were arrested and taken to the Police Department.
I. U., a 15 years old child who is a student of high
school, said that he was beaten with a police gun
that broke 4 of his teeth while coming home from the
shop with his friends.
'Started beating without saying anything'
I. U., who was arrested on the ground of 'attending
a protest and throwing Molotov cocktails', said that
the police jumped off of their car and started
beating him and then arrested him. Expressing that
because of beating him with the gun on his mouth, he
had 4 of his teeth broken, and that after taking him
to the police department, they used violence against
him again.
"After I bought a notebook from the shop, I was
coming home with 3 of my friends. In a place close
to our home, a police car stopped and the policemen
started beating me without first asking anything.
One of the policemen beat me with a big gun on my
mouth, he broken 4 of my teeth. Then they started
beating us with truncheons. They swore very badly,
they arrested us and put us in a police car." Said
I. U.
'They were beating us with truncheons'
Then they were taken by the police to the Terror
Combat branch, they heard accusations like; "you are
the Molotov professionals", "you're the leader of
the riot", "tell us who were the rioters?".
"But I didn't know about it at all, and my mouth was
bleeding, and my leg was in great pain because they
hit it with the truncheon. They also took the
statements of my friends after beating them so
badly" He said.
Didn't go to school
After being beaten up by the police he was taken to
the Nusaybin's governmental hospital because of his
teeth and leg. "Under the threats of the police the
doctor had to write a positive report" I. U. Said.
After the police took the doctor's report, they took
him to an office he didn't know of. "I claim my
rights, I didn't do anything but they broken my
teeth and beaten me up. I'll struggle until the end
to get my rights." He added. After he was released,
he was taken to the hospital by his family and they
got him another report.
I. E, who was arrested for the same reason, said
that he was beaten on his face although he told them
not to beat them there. His face was swollen since
he had an operation there; "I told them not to beat
me there, but they continued beating, they tortured
us in the wrong place. They had no right to do this
to us. I'll struggle for my rights till the end" he
said.
I. U.'s father, Sabri Uca, said that his son was
tortured by the police and that he is going to take
the matter to the Nusaybin's chief public
prosecutor's office. He stressed that he will not
accept the torture made to his son and that he is
also going to apply to The Human Rights Association
(IHD).
