Currently there is a Syrian delegation in Holland,
which is inviting Syrian asylum seekers about a
return ticket to the tyrannical regime Syria.
According to the Kurdish Yekiti party, the Syrian
delegation consists out of a general and director of
the Syrian intelligence services.
The Dutch parties Christian Union and the PVDA asked
questions about it in the Dutch parliament.
The Yekiti party is a party from West-Kurdistan
(Syrian), which is trying to get more rights for the
Kurds on a democratic way. According to Kawa Rashid,
the representative of Yekiti in Holland, the
identity of the delegation members is General Ahmad
Ayash and his right-hand Yussif Hamdan. Kawa fears
that Kurdish asylum-seekers are in danger.
The SP-parliament member Harry van Bommel has the
impression the information about the Syrian
delegation is right.
According to the Yekiti, the Syrian delegation has
received records of the Dutch immigration service
IND. “They know that people asked political asylum
and try to get more information.” The Dutch
Immigration and Naturalizations service (IND) denies
the report.
Earlier the Kurdish political activist Fahim Schecho
from Germany was sent back to Syria. Immediately he
was arrested by the Syrian intelligence service,
which is known for their human rights violations and
torture.
Last year, when Kurds where freed, they were marked
by scars and wounds, which will always remain a
memory to the practises of the Syrian Baath party.
One of the Kurdish families said that the delegation
members work on request of the Dutch minister
Verdonk. “Verdonk urged the Syrian president, to
give Syrians papers for travelling back, because
Holland wants to get rid of them”.
The Kurdish party Yekiti advises Kurds from
West-Kurdistan, to contact Kurdish organisations and
never to go alone to the Syrian delegation. They
also advise Syrian asylum seekers to contact a
lawyer or refugee organisations, if they are invited
for talks and never to answer questions or sign
papers given by the Syrian delegation.
The IND and Minister Verdonk were in the spotlight
before, when it was revealed that refugees that were
sent back to Congo, were tortured and arrested. This
happened, because the IND gave confident information
to the authorities of Congo.
The Minister Verdonk said sorry, but there were no
mayor consequences for her actions or the actions of
the IND. Kurds fear they will share the same fate as
the disappeared Kurd Fahim Schecho and the tortured
refugees from Congo.
