Popular Kurdish singer shot dead in Iraqi

Iraq, November 19, -– Gunmen killed on Sunday
morning the Kurdish singer Massoud Curan in Mosul
city, an Iraqi police source said.
"Unidentified gunmen shot dead popular singer
Massoud Curan this morning in al-Jazair neighborhood,”
the source said.
The motives behind the killing were not immediately
clear.
Curan is of Kurdish origin and has gained fame for
singing popular songs in the northern Iraqi city of
Mosul.
