Iraqi President Jalal Talabani's son Qubad has been
appointed a representative for Iraqi Kurdistan's
government in the United States.
"The government of Kurdistan has decided to appoint
Qubad Talabani as its representative in the United
States," Kurdistan government spokesman Khalid Saleh
said.
Qubad has previously represented the Kurdistan
National Union party in the U.S.
Salih said he would soon take up his job.
