Iran: Assets of exiled Kurdish feminist seized 19.10.2006

Tehran, October 19, -- A court in Sanandaj, in Iranian Kurdistan, has ordered the confiscation of all the assets of Kurdish feminist Roya Tolouii, a journalist and doctor arrested and then released last year on bail. The activist, who has claimed she was tortured in jail, is today living in the United States.
