Home raid in Izmir
IZMYR 19.Sep (DIHA)-
The police raided a house in Konak, Izmir and took
two brothers Yusuf and Ýbrahim Demirkýran into
custody.
The radi was done yesterday night by the
Anti-Terrorism Branch of Police Department. The
brothers are being waited in Bozyaka Police
Department.
Soldiers let the forest burn
TUNCELI 19.Sep
(DIHA) - The firefighters going to Gulec Village to
put out the forest fire were stopped by the
soldiers.
The fire in question has started yesterday. Hearing
the fire, the mayor of Tunceli Municipality sent a
fire engine with its 15 crew but the soldiers did
not let them to enter into the fire area on the
grounds of ongoing military operation in the area.
While the fire continues, the dense shipment of
soldiers goes on as well, say the locals.
