Baghdad - The
Iraqi president Jalal Al Talebani announced the
death of the Iraqi Mufti, head of Ulamaa union in
Iraq , Sheikh Abdul Kariem Muhammad Al Mudarris
Kurdi , who was known as Shaikh Abdul Kariem Bayara.
He died on Monday evening at the age of 104.
Talebani has expressed his strong sorrow for the
death of Al Mudarris, assuring that the late was a
distinguished cleric and a thinker who has left a
heritage of writings of about 65 books in both
Arabic and Kurdish languages, his death was a great
loss, he added that the late sheikh was very
respectable and appreciated for his knowledge,
thoughts, his faith and his remarkable personality
not only in Kurdistan and Sulaimania where he has
spent his youth but in all Iraq.
