Today,
Motorola (NYSE:MOT) successfully concluded their
participation in the Kurdistan DBX Trade Show 2005
as a Platinum sponsor.
The tradeshow took place from 15 - 18 September in
the city of Holer (Erbil), the capital of the
federal region of Iraqi Kurdistan which was
organized by the Iraqi-American Chamber of Commerce
and Industry.

reform and revitalization. We are very satisfied

international trade show in free Iraq, we were

At the tradeshow, all of Motorola's businesses were
showcasing their latest technology, comprising

communications equipment and connected home
solutions. Motorola demonstrated its commitment to
making seamless mobility a reality for customers in
Iraq, by showing state-of-the-art products for GSM,
WLL-CDMA, iDEN, APCO25 and TETRA networks, as well
as broadband communications solutions and cable
modems.
Motorola and its local partners have been supporting
customers in Iraq since April 2003 with
mission-critical radio communications for public
safety and other applications, as well as equipment
that has provided mobile phone service to more than
two million subscribers.
Motorola is uniquely positioned to provide timely
and effective implementation of IT and
communications solutions addressing a broad range of
immediate and longer-term needs that include
security and public safety, and extend to the
utilities sectors (oil, water, and electric power
generation and distribution), education and health
care institutions (schools, clinics, hospitals),
