Baghdad - The Feili Kurdish Party is
preparing for participating in the political process
and activating the democratic march in the country.
This was announced by Dr. Burhan Al Shawi,
Secretary-General of the party immediately after his
arrival in Baghdad yesterday. He was accompanied by
Mrs. Fairuza Hatem, member of the political office
of the party.
Al Shawi pointed out that the party is preparing for
conducting several deliberations and meetings, in
addition to exchanging ideas with the various
parties and political entities, for the purpose of
reinforcing the political process.
He added, "The Iraqi Feili Kurdish Party is a
liberal political organization that aims at
spreading the concepts of democracy and secularism.
It takes into consideration the special racial
situation of the Kurdish people.
On her behalf, Dr. Fairuz Hatem, member of the
political office, said that in its intellectual
reference, the party relies on human rights, and the
principle of the sovereignty of the law for
establishing the state of constitutional civil
institutions. She noted that the motto of the party
is represented in freedom, dignity, humanitarianism,
justice and equality, in addition to supporting the
diverse democratic federal system.
