Kurdistan-Iraq, Sept 21 The minister of
Education in Kurdistan said that textbooks in the
region were changed to suit the latest developments
in Iraq and reinforce democracy, human rights, civil
education and reject national extremism.
He said that among new subjects added to the
elementary and intermediary classes was civil
education, which encourages elementary schools'
students to participate in dialogues to reinforce
their personalities and educate intermediate classes
students about citizenship.
He added that computers were introduced in all
educational facilities, for planning and preparing
lessons and analyzing annual statistics, noting that
computers were provided to all intermediate classes.
