Sulaimaniyah,
Kurdistan-Iraq : The water
resources administration in Sulaimaniyah has set a
plan, which includes initiating the preparation of
work sites for maintaining some dams in Sulaimaniyah
province.
This was announced by a source in the
administration. He added that the works include
dealing with the leakage of water in Wadi Azmar and
Sulaimaniyah Dams, for the purpose of making use of
these dams in storing water.
On the other hand, there are current works for
preparing the site or the purpose of launching the
works of establishing the housing complex for Baser
Dukan Dam.
This includes building a double supporting wall on
the road leading to the water liquidator, in
addition to purchasing pumps and erecting water
pumps to the station for the purpose o reinforcing
water to the neighboring regions.
