Newsdesk, Aug 19 - A German delegation
consisting of sociologist Martin Dolzer, lawyer
Britta Eder and pedagogue Christoph Kolczkowski are
on their way to join the 222 human shields calling
themselves 'Peace and Freedom Brigades' in the
mountains of Qandil in southern Kurdistan (northern
Iraq).
"The work of the human shields have been
criminalized in Turkey. We, as democrats and
socialists, are going to show them our support",
Dolzer said.
The delegation celebrated '15th of August' and met
with DEHAP leaders in northern Kurdistan before
heading towards Qandil.
