CENTER (DIHA) -Kurdistan-Turkey Coming
together from different districts of southern
province Adana, hundreds of people celebrated the
21.th anniversary of PKK's first armed actions.
The demonstrators unfurled the flags of Democratic
Confederalism and HPG together with posters of
Kurdish Leader Abdullah Ocalan.
On the other hand, a group held a marching in Siirt
to celebrate the day. During the marching lasting
nearly one hour, the crowd shouted slogans such as
'Viva Leader Apo', 'The youth to Botan, free home'
and 'The leader Apo is our political willpower'
Another celebration came from Izmir, the western
province of Turkey. A group named 'Apo's Youth
Initiative' held a demonstration in which they
supported the struggle of Kurdish guerrillas with
their slogans. The demonstration was finished with a
firework display after a speech about the importance
of the day.
One other demonstration was held by the young in
eastern county Silopi. Gathering on E-24 Highway,
the young blocked the road to the traffic by firing
tires.
