The
group blocked the Diyarbakir Street to the traffic
and marched until Ataturk Park. During the marching
the protestors shouted slogans such as "May live the
brotherhood of the people", "We cast down the world
without Ocalan", "With life, with blood we are with
you O Leader" and "The youth is the bodyguard of
Ocalan"
AKP was protested
Taking the support of the car drivers passing, they
protested the ruling AKP while passing by the AKP
building in Batman. The spokesman of the Branch
Ferhat Bilik gave a speech in the name of the group
in Ataturk Park reminding Ocalan's detention in
Imrali for 7 years. He said during the course of
time neither Ocalan's nor the Kurdish public's peace
and democracy demands were taken into consideration.
"The insulation and isolation toward Ocalan was
increased with the new Crime Execution Law and The
new Penal Procedural Law (CMUK). The operations in
the region are dragging the Kurdish problem into
deadlock and Turkey into chaos. Especially the
comments of General Staff and the military figures
to the public and media show the war is wanted to be
deepen more and more. They want to make military
mileage by bringing the Kurdish and Turkish people
opposite to each other." said he.
'Ocalan is the agent of Kurdish problem'
"As the youth we do not want to die or kill and for
the war to be stop we want Ocalan to be taken as the
agent of the solution. For the permanent peace to
settle, we call the ruling AKP and other authorities
to office." said Bilik
After the speech, the group scattered uneventfully
after the slogans such as "Ocalan", "PKK is the
people, people is here", "We do not want to die or
kill" and " We are supporters of Apo (short term for
Abdullah)
