Syria released 60 Kurds from prison

Syria-Kurdistan, Aug 4 - 60 Kurds that
were arrested during protests against the killing of
the Kurdish cleric Sheikh Masouk Al-Xaznawi by the
Syrian intelligence agency have been released.
Syrian human right groups have reported that the
regime has now released 60 people who were arrested
during the protests. It was not mentioned how many
more were in prison.
Sheikh Masouk Al-Xaznawi was kidnapped on May 10 by
Syrian intelligence agents and were reported to have
been put through intensive torture and killed on May
30.
