Dnata agencies appointed general sales
agent for new Kurdistan airlines

Dubai-based travel company Dnata Agencies, has been
appointed General Sales Agent (GSA) for Kurdistan
Airlines in the Gulf.
The region's leading travel management company,
Dnata will represent and market Kurdistan Airlines
in the UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and
Oman.
Based in Arbil, Iraq, Kurdistan Airlines recently
launched twice-a-week flights to Dubai with a Boeing
737 aircraft in two-class configuration, offering
109 seats.
Representing the airline, Yahya M. Ali, Commercial
Representative of Kurdistan Region, Iraq said: 'We
recently launched the first-ever commercial flight
between Dubai and Arbil, and this air link will help
contribute to the development of the Kurdistan
region in Iraq. |

believe there is great potential to grow the demand,
and are pleased to have appointed Dnata Agencies as
our GSA for the Gulf markets. Their expertise and
extensive partner network in the region will be a
great asset in supporting the airline's operations
in the Gulf.'

Agencies said: 'We are pleased to represent
Kurdistan Airlines as GSA in the Gulf region, and we
will tap on our extensive regional network of
partner agencies to support and grow the airline's
business.'
In Dubai, Dnata Agencies will provide Kurdistan
Airlines with a dedicated ticket desk on the ground
floor of Dnata Travel Centre on Sheikh Zayed Road.
It will also manage the airline's ticket stock
throughout the UAE, and provide sales and marketing
support for the region via its extensive partner
network.
In addition, customers of Kurdistan Airlines can
access Dnata's 24-hour call centre for flight
information, bookings and general travel support.
Kurdistan Airlines' Dubai -Arbil service operates
every Thursday and Sunday. Flight SVJ201 departs
Dubai at 10:00 hours and arrives in Arbil at 12:30
hours, while return flight SVJ202 departs Arbil at
14:00 hours and arrives in Dubai at 16:30 hours. All
times indicated are local.
Kurdistan Airlines is looking to expand its services
to Dubai in the near future.
