During his meeting with President Jalal Talabani in
Dukhan, Iraqi Kurdistan President Massoud Barzani

Talabani supported Barzani's announcement, promising
that he will try his best to apply that article as
soon as possible. He also affirmed the establishment
of a special committee to normalize the situation in
Kirkuk. He rejected a postponement of the Kirkuk
issue until the end of writing the constitution
