Regional Government and the Government in Baghdad.
KDC's involvement comes with the backing of His
Excellency Nechirvan Barzani, the Prime Minister of
Kurdistan Regional Government.
Ministers from both Governments and from all sectors
are confirmed to attend alongside the major Iraqi
and Kurdish companies and many international
companies including Canon, Daimler-Chrysler, DHL,
Hewlett Packard, GE, John-Deere, KBR, Motorola and
Siemens.
Ms Bayan Sami Abdul Rahman, Chairman of KDC, said:
"As the investment promotions agency for the
Kurdistan Regional Government, we are offering the
IACCI our resources in order to maximise the number
of international companies that will attend. We are
organising an international delegation to go to this
event and we continue to spread the news that
Kurdistan is the logical commercial gateway to the
whole of Iraq, one that is already open for
business."
Mr Raad Ommar, Chief Executive Officer of the
Iraqi-American Chamber of Commerce and Industry,
said: "KDC is a great partner for this historic
event and we expect that we will continue to work
together to promote investment and international
trade in this vital and fastest growing region in
Iraq."
Several newly opened hotels in Erbil will
accommodate the DBX Kurdistan conference and the
delegates. The trade exhibition will be held in a
complex of marquees in the pristine central park in
