KURDISTAN (Turkey), June 28 (DozaMe.org) - The
People’s Defence Forces Press and Liaison Centre (HPG-BIM)
released the identities of four guerrillas that were
martyred on June 24 in clashes with Turkish military
in Bingol.
The four guerrillas, one of them the Erzurum
Province Commander Ahmet Okur (Serxwebun), were
killed on June 24 after fierce clashes with Turkish
military in the province of Bingol in northern
Kurdistan. One captain and one 1st Lieutenant, a
total of 22 Turkish soldiers have also been reported
killed after clashes with the HPG guerrillas in six
different places in Bingol.
The guerrillas reported have being martyred are
Ahmet Okur (Serxwebûn) of Hazro, Amed; Mehmet Bayar
(Sinan) of Ergani, Amed; Tekin Saybak (Harun) of
Bahçesaray, Van; Senar Gülükanlu (Kani) of Urmiye.
HPG also stated that the HPG guerrilla Tekin Saybak
had his throat cut and his head badly crushed by the
Turkish soldiers.
Relative of Saybak and manager of DEHAP stated that
during the autopsy, they have witnessed the shocking
scene where Saybak’s skull was crushed and his
throat was cut. Ibrahim Sungur said, "I don’t know
what to say about the scene that I have witnessed. I
am ashamed to call myself a member of the human
race. Killed by bullets, skull being crushed. This
kind of atrocity will be troublesome for humanity."
