Gazyantep : (DYHA) - It is learnt that 2
detainees in Gaziantep H type prison were given 3
month disciplinary penalty for speaking Kurdish with
their families on the phone.
Political detainees in Gaziantep H type prison made
a statement through their families and said that 2
detainees were given 3 month disciplinary penalty
for speaking Kurdish with their families on the
phone.
It is also stated that the problems in the prisons
started to increase with the new law about execution
of sentence said: "While AKP government make legal
arrangements for EU on the other hand it insists on
denial, annihilation and prohibition mentality.
Although Kurdish broadcast on state television,
Kurdish language courses and Kurdish is spoken at
the courts, 2 captives in prison were given 3 month
disciplinary penalty for speaking Kurdish with their
families on the phone".
It is demanded this contradictory situation to be
ended and also stated: "We, as PKK members
captivated in Antep prison, protest this mentality
prohibiting our mother tongue want to say that we
will not accept this kind of practices".
