THE body of a missing
mum-of-two has been found in a car boot as police
stepped up the hunt for her barman boyfriend.
Inga Losiene, 32, vanished 10 days ago. Her partner
Farik Farukh, also 32, went missing two days later
after leaving her children with babysitters and not
going back for them.
Police said yesterday they are "certain" the body
found late on Sunday evening in the boot of a red
Vauxhall car - left near a railway station in
Southend, Essex - is Inga's.
An Essex Police spokesman said: "We cannot say how
she died but we are treating it as murder.

"We are very keen to speak to Mr Farukh. It's in
everyone's best interest for us to speak to him as
soon as possible."
Ms Losiene, from Lithuania, and Iraqi Kurd Mr Farukh
moved to Southend about 10 months ago and lived in a
1930s terrace.
They were popular in the community. She was last
seen shortly before going shopping on Friday, May
27. Friend Deborah Andrews, 43, said: "I was the
last one to see her. She had pink leggings on and a
black striped T-shirt
"I heard her slam the gate and walk really quickly
up the road. She never slammed the gate like that
before."
Her husband Ricky, 43, said Mr Farukh sat waiting
"for hours" outside the house on the Friday.
Later that day, he drove her children - Malinana, an
11-year-old girl, and her son Arian, aged six - to
Ipswich in Suffolk, where Mr Farukh has friends.
The family's grey Rover broke down on the A14 in
Felixstowe, Suffolk, and they got a lift. The car
was dumped and has been forensically tested.
On May 29, Mr Farukh left the children with
babysitters and went to his work at a seafront pub
in Southend. He has not been seen since. Police
searching for the pair were directed to the Vauxhall
left near East Southend station after complaints of
a smell coming from it.
A post-mortem will be carried out on the body. The
police spokesman said: "The area has been cordoned
off and we will be spending a lot of time searching
every inch."
Mum-of-two Tina Hall, who lives nearby, said: "It's
awful to think the body has been there for a while.
We walked past it with the children every day. This
woman also has children, it's terrible to think
someone could kill her and just leave her there."
Kim Ambrose, 45, who lives near the couple, said:
"They were really nice. They were part of the
community and their children played with the other
kids around here."
Ms Losiene's children are being cared for by
relatives. Suffolk police are helping search for Mr
Farukh.
An Essex Police spokesman said: "The focus of the
search is in Southend and Ipswich." It is not
thought Mr Farukh has gone abroad, he added.
