A number of our fellow Iranians have started a
demonstration in Belgium to protest the policies
conducted by the European Union in supporting the
Islamic regime in Iran. Over the past 26 years most
Iranian have clearly demonstrated that in the view
of majority of Iranians the ruling regime in Iran is
not anything but a group of foreign invaders who
have shown no mercy to Iranians.
In spite of all atrocities committed by the Islamic
regime the European Union has offered its blessing
and its full support to the unpopular rulers of this
regime. Clearly in return the EU has asked for very
sweet economical favors from the Tehran’s regime.
Now, we are demanding that the European Union ends
this policy of supporting criminals and terrorists
of the Islamic regime that has been going on for a
long time. Claiming to have a civilized society and
caring about human rights must not be only cheap
talks and it must not be only for certain peoples,
but the human kind in general. The expectation of
Iranians from the European Union is to end this
inhumane support of this terrorist regime that has
been feeding from the blood of hundreds of thousands
of Iranians since its inception.
The voice and the demand of our fellow Iranians
gathered in peace in Belgium from European Union is
the same as ours. We are hoping that their demands
will be met, they will be treated with respect, and
no harm will be inflicted on them.
We believe any drastic measure taken by security
forces against our fellow Iranians will be
considered by most Iranians as an act of hostility
against people of Iran’s struggle for freedom and it
can have no other interpretation than the
continuation of the anti-Iranians policies conducted
by European Union for a long time.
We hope that the European Union realizes that the
winds of freedom are blowing over Iran and in the
near future the Islamic regime will be thrown to the
trashcan of the history by people of Iran. We
believe the European Union must follow policies
based on that fact and not short term benefits
gained at the price of poverty and torture of
Iranians which may have serious consequences in the
relationship between Iranians and the EU in the
future and after the liberation of Iran by Iranians.
