TEHRAN, Mar. 9 (MNA) -
Several Kurdish Iranian artists are to participate in the Kurdish Cultural
Seminar that opens in Rome on March 22.
Musician Hushang Kamkar is scheduled to make a
speech on the various melodies in Kurdish music at
the event. In addition, the Kamkars band will be
performing a live concert and Kamkars CDs will be on
sale at the seminar.
The band is scheduled to give a concert on March 24
at the Rome Auditorium.
Bahman Qobadi, an Iranian Kurd who directed the film
“Turtles Can Fly”, will also be participating in the
seminar.
