Kerim, Secretary General of Iraqi Supreme Referendum
Council, said the referendum results in the South
Kurdistan would be announced today.
Reporting there are 3 questions on referendum
ballots; Dou want to live in a federation? Do you
want to live as dependent upon Iraq? Or do you want
to live in an independent Kurdish state? Kerim said:
"Iraqi citizens polled their votes freely without
propaganda or being forced.
The counting votes completed yesterday. We are going
to announce the decision to come out of the
referendum to the whole world. The outcome of
referendum will reflect Kurdish people's will" and
added the curtains would be offered to the Iraqi
government and the Northern Iraq administration.
