Iraq's land borders and
international airport have re-opened after the end
of an election security clampdown.
But a nightly curfew will remain in place across the
country.
Deputy Interior Minister Ahmad al-Khafaji says
Iraqis must stay off the streets between 11:00pm and
4:00am.
Other restrictions put in place for last weekend's
election have been lifted.
Iraq's land borders have been opened and the
international airport is operating again after a
three-day closure.
Meanwhile, interim Iraqi President Ghazi al-Yawar
says it is almost certain that the country's next
prime minister will come from the majority Shia
population.
He says a Kurd and a Sunni will fill the positions
of president and head of the parliament.
Dr Yawar has called on foreign insurgents to lay
down their weapons and leave his country.
He says the better-than-expected turnout in last
weekend's election shows that Iraqis reject the
insurgency.
