The
Kurds march in Strasbourg
The Kurds living in Europe have marched in
Strasbourg, France to protest the anniversary of
Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Ocalan's being
brougth to Turkey.
Despite rain the Kurds who came together in front of
Strasbourg Railway Station, where the action was
going to start, began marching at 10:00 AM, shouted
slogans "Either free life with Ocalan or nothing"
and "Live Long Leader Apo" and demanded Deputy
Chairman of KONGRA-GEL Remzi Kartal to be released.
At the action Greece, Turkey and the USA, which had
played role in bringing Kurdish People's Leader
Abdullah Ocalan, were also condemned. The actionists
stated that the currently intensified pressures on
Kurds who dwell in Europe are not acceptable.
