Nearly
500 members of Batman Office of Democratic People's
Party (DEHAP) who gathered in the Ataturk Park,
Batman to go to Siirt have marched with slogans
comprising peace demands.
DEHAP followers came together to set out for the
press declaration to be held in Siirt in the scope
of the campign "We won't allow the war". Mehdi
Oztuzun, Batman Chairman of DEHAP making a statement
with some representatives of non-governmental
organizations touched upon last developments in
Siirt and said:" The executions held in Şırnak are
being tried to be concealed from notice. In order to
see pressures on site and build morale for people in
Siirt, we are going to Siirt." By referring Turkish
Chancellor Recep Tayyip Erdogan's Diyarbakir visit,
Oztuzun said: "Premier Erdogan is going to come to
Diyarbakir. If the prime minister gives a message to
Kurds, it will be clear that the Justice and
Development Party (AKP) is a Turkey party, but if
not, it will appear that He will show him to be a
town trader and that he wastes Turkey for
imperialists on no purpose."
'The complot is going on'
Marking the Kurd problem and last developments in
the Middle East, he said:" The plot which resulted
in bringing Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Ocalan
from Kenya to Turkey is keeping on; a Kurd-Turk
conflict is desired to be created. Deputy Head of
KONGRA-GEL, Remzi Kartal's being arrested is the
continuation of the trick the USA and EU play on
Kurds. The conspiracy is being attempted to be
carried on in this manner."

Approximately 500 people attending declaration
marched towards the Grossmar to join the group who
set out for Siirt, shouting slogans "We want neither
to die nor to be killed", "A voice to peace;
