Barzani Leader of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP)
repeating to establish an independent Kurdish state
is their right said: "The neighbour countries
account this right to be sin. I would like to tear
this sinfulness curtain and to show them this is our
right."
KDP Head Barzani, in his interview with Journalist
Arif Zerevan in Kurdistan's Presidency Palace, said:
" To establish an independent Kurdish state is
Kurds' right. The neighbour countries account this
right to be sin. I would like to tear this
sinfulness curtain and to show them this is our
right."
Masoud Barzani stated they were not struggling only
for the independency of Northern Iraq but for the
interests of all the Kurdish public in a democratic
and peaceful way, underlining that the Kurdish
people is a nation.
Address to the neighbour countries
He wants to break the taboo of neighbour countries,
which every time consider the Kurds' independence
demand as separatism and decomposition, stressing
Barzani addressed to neighbouring states as such:
"Who wants to separate whose country? Who wants to
separate what from where? They have divided
Kurdistan into 4 parts, by exploiting. We are not
saying let's a part from Iraqi Iranian, Turkish and
Syrian lands. I would like to destroy this
separatism so that May they understand what our
right is.''
Barzani also called Turkey to extend its friendship
hand to the Kurds in Northern Iraq and to be smooth
over the Kurdish policy.
'Only death makes us give up Kirkuk'
The leader of KDP laying stress on that what came
out of the balloting boxes in Iraqi election has
shown the identity of Kirkuk is Kurdish and "Kürdistani",
and no power will be able to have him abandoned to
say it added: "Only death can cut off my way on this
matter. None power or state all over the world
except for this (death) can make me quit Kirkuk.
This is absolute and, it is not possible for us to
renounce Kirkuk."
