The honorable Dr. kak Kamal Kirkuki, deputy head of
Kurdistan Regional Government has reported; that
about 276,000 Kurdish registered voters’ names are
not appearing on the list of the official Kirkuk
Kurdistan’s registered voters. I’ve been trying to
get the exact numbers and the whole story from the
internet, but the enemy is busy as usual, sending
signals to interrupt the continuous news coverage.
This means; that I can only watch the two Kurdish TV
news programs through the internet, living on an
Island far from other U.S. States, where they can
directly watch the programs on TV via satellite.
The news I received was in pieces with disrupted
frequency signals. What I heard about the tampering
of the list, and keeping the Kurdish voters’ list at
a truncated down figure is accurate. What I still
can’t verify is the exact numbers being truncated
down. Are they 200,000 or 276,000 Kurdish registered
voters’ names?
As you see; even at 200,000, it is still a very high
figure. The news of Hawija I’m sure. The Kurdish
list, consisting of 36,000 registered Kurdish voters
only shows ONE. This means; that the rest or some
35,999 Kurdish registered votes’ names have been
officially taken off from the Hawaija’s list.
If so, I, as a Kurd by origin, living in Diaspora,
and not even eligible to vote in any of those lists,
demand; that if this issue has not been fully
resolved officially, and in writing, as well as
fully verified after the election, to make sure
those 276,000 votes are all counted; I demand that
Kurdish Leaders should stop the election for a few
days until the security measures have been taken,
and the validity of all registered voters are in
good order, and in compliance with the
Democratic-Free-Fair-Clean elections in any given
Democratic election. I especially bring this to the
attention of Mr. Hussein al-Hindawi, chairman of the
Independent Electoral Commission of Iraq (IECI).
I also demand; that Mr. Ja’afari be removed from any
committee overlooking these security operations,
because he has so far been directly responsible for
most of the chaos and disorder in preventing to
carry out the measures, which have been made into
the law of the entire Iraq, and promulgated within
the Constitution just passed in October by all three
groups of Kurds, Sunni Arabs, and again Shia Arabs
(that is if Arabs consider themselves to be of two
different racial groups to cash in on somebody
else’s political and sovereign rights, entitling
them to their own natural resources, which is
Kurdish oil in South Kurdistan).
Mr. Ja’afari seems to be assisting the other three
usurpers of Kurdish homeland to continue their
terror against Kurdish people, because it was after
his visit to Tehran, when more that 28 Kurds (that I
have so far read in parts of the region’s news) have
been massacred in the regime’s anti-Kurd operations,
as well as the executions of Kurds in Urumia have
occurred soon after that visit. Mr. Ja’afari has
stalled the allocated money to be released in
helping Kirkuk Kurdistan’s returnee Kurds back to
their homes, as well as repairing or rebuilding
their destroyed homes by the pathetic blood thirsty
Saddam. Mr. Ja’afari should not be reelected as the
next Prime Minister of Iraq, rather be brought to
justice to answer the questions for his subversive
anti social and anti-Kurd activities.
The perpetrators behind these tampering are
apparently supported by external and some internal
agents with financial interests in mind; to try and
exploit Kurdish people’s national wealth, because
Kurds have remained without any steady official
government recognition the same as their opponents
for 85 years in their history of suppression and
genocides by the very “Arabs” they’re being imposed
on to be unified with, and regretfully in this
outlaw and illegal undertaking, a few in our own
U.S. administration are accomplices to, unless they
change their backward policy of terrorizing our
Kurdish nation, which should have obtained their
Independent South Kurdistan state three years ago.
Instead, the few in the administration are barking
on the same wrong tree of the past failed and
“Tyranny supported” foreign policies, which have
stemmed from the 1920s failed treaty of Serves;
simply because of UK and Frances outside
interferences in drawing a most inhumanely
partitioned Kurdistan. This has left 45-50 million
Kurds open for genocides and persecutions in the
hands of those Tyrant regimes.
It appears; that now that they are beginning to
understand “unification” will never work, now those
few perpetrators are trying to cheat in the
election, and in their own little minds, once again
keep Kirkuk Kurdistan as hostage for another 85
years, while Kurdish oil revenues are stolen.
Anything short of fixing the Kurdish registered list
of the voters would be the condoning and approval of
the extension of ethnic cleansing against Kurds in
Kirkuk, Mosul, Hawija, all of Tamim, Diyala, and the
rest of the respective Counties or provinces since
1963 under Saddam.
This would by far be worse than Saddam’s ethnic
cleansing, except it would be under the name
“Democracy” and Free elections instead of
Aggressive, destructive, and barbaric intimidation
and killing under Saddam’s regime and sick minded
murderous mentality of his defunct military force.
There can be a lot more said about the abusive
“Arab” regimes’ hegemony against Kurds, but the
focus of this news article should remain on the
December 15, 2005 election, either stopped for a few
days or provided with the missing security of some
276,000 name of Kurdish registered voters’ list.
Anything short of that is a call to declare totally
official Independent South Kurdistan, which should
have been the case three years ago soon after our
invasion.
Steve Tataii, the legitimate U.S. Congressman
since 2002 elections.
