Turkey: Mass grave is found in Mardin

MARDIN,
Kurdistan-Turkey (DIHA)- İn the district of Savur in
Mardin assemled grave of guerillas of PKK had been
found.İt was stated that the bodies were thrown one
above another and the grave was covered only by
stones.
After the board of lawyers applied to Savur public
prosecutor, the incidence place was determined and
some pieces of bones were taken to legal medicine.
After application by boards of lawyers there had
been found assembled graves in the Savur district of
Mardin.After the examination by lawyers, mass grave
had been found with the bodies thrown one above
another. İt was determined that the bodies were
thrown into lime deep hole and the hole was covered
only by stones.
There had been found also the dresses of the
guerillas in the hole.İt was said that the bodies
belong to the 9 gueriallas killed in the clash which
was occured in may 1995.After the application, the
public prosecutor had gone to the place of the
event.İt was observed that many soldiers had taken
great measures in the place and not letting anybody
to enter into the place.some of the pieces of bones
also had been taken by the public prosecutor for
identification.
