Kurds of London drew attention to UK’s policy of
Deporting failed asylum seekers

A
committed and vocal group of Kurdish protesters
gathered in White Hall before marching through
streets of London to Hyde park where number speeches
were delivered by of Iranian and Iraqi Kurdish
refugee support groups in solidarity with 15 Kurdish
detainees who are due to be deport back to south
Kurdistan Iraq on Sunday 20th November.
The Kurdish community members of London joined the
already organized demonstration by Stop deporting
children group to show their condemnation of recent
British Governments policy on Iraqi Kurdistan which
holds the view that south Kurdistan is safe and
enjoy freedom and democratic system under Kurdish
Regional Government. The demonstrators believed the
UK act on deporting the Iraqi Kurds, with respect to
the 15 Kurdish detainees it has UK national,
international and Middle Eastern regional
ramifications for the asylum seekers and
interpretation of 1951 convention.
This small group is first Iraqis Kurds sent back to
Iraq from UK. The demonstration ended at 3 pm,
following a vocal rendition slogans and plans for
Sunday demonstration at Heathrow airport where the
15 Kurds are believed to be deport it back to Hewler
(Arbil) international airport via Cyprus.
