Impressive client base for
Photolink
PHOTOLINK is a well-established creative company in
the north west. Founded in 1977 by fashion
photographer David Walter, the business has grown
from a one-man operation into a major enterprise
with a host of high-profile clients.
Manchester United, Kangol, Nike, Argos and the
Office of the Deputy Prime Minister have all turned
to Photolink for their creative marketing and
communications needs. From travelling around the
world to photograph next year's must-have items, to
promoting Kurdistan or designing brochures and
websites, Photolink has many fingers in many pies. |

Still privately owned by Salford University graduate
Mr Walter, the Ardwick-based firm remains
self-financed and employs 80 staff. Photolink is
forecasting £8m turnover by its year-end in November
and is moving to a £400,000 Grade II listed building
to accommodate a further 25 staff.
The next big step for the company, though, is out in
the Far East. "We have researched the China and Hong
Kong markets for the last eight months," said Mr
Walter.
