Iranians expected to export quality goods to Kurdistan-Iraq 10.11.2005

LONDON, Nov 10,- We expect Iranian merchants to export quality goods to our country, representative of Jalal Talabani and supervisor of Iraqi Kurdistan trade delegate Haj Abdullah Haj Saeid said, MNA reported.

The delegate had traveled to Kermanshah to participate in a conference and meeting on reconstruction of Iraq.

At the moment, goods are being exported to Kurdistan from other countries. Hence, the Iranian merchants are expected to export their high quality merchandise with competitive prices in order to maintain their presence in our market, Haj Saeid commented.

Saddam destroyed our cities and villages, therefore, construction materials and reviving agricultural and animal husbandry sectors are of major requirement. Moreover, food, clothing and other goods can be absorbed by one million people of Sulaimaniyah, he stated, responding to the question as to what people need the most.

Iraqi Kurdistan offers tax exempt to the investors up to five years; land and other facilities are other means used to encourage investment in the country.
