Kurdistan President Barzani meets Pope

Vatican City, Nov 14 - Pope Benedict XVI met the
President of the Kurdistan Region, Massoud Barzani,
who was accompanied by his government's Prime
Minister, Nechirvan Barzani. Today's meeting follows
a previous one between the Pope and Iraqi President
Jalal Talabani, which took place behind closed doors
on Thursday last week, and a subsequent speech by
the Pope at Saturday's Caldean Church Synod.
