Nesreen Berwari condemns Al Jafari's
performance and accuses him of discrimination

Nesreen Berwari, Iraqi
minister of municipalities and public works, has
strongly condemned the policies of the Iraqi Prime
Minister Ibrahim Al Ja'fari and his monopoly of
taking decisions, in addition to his adoption of the
centralization of decisions in the government. She
said, "Many decisions that are issued by this
government are unknown but to a few members."
Berwari accused Al Ja'fari of adopting
discrimination in his treatment as Prime Minister
with the ministries run by Kurds. She stated, "As
regards designations, there is an unjust manner of
treatment, especially with the ministries run by
Kurds. There is clear negligence in this respect.". |
In an interview with the Kurdish "Khabat" Newspaper,
she condemned Al Ja'fari's negligence regarding the
application of Article 58 of the state
administration code for the interim period, which
deals with handling Kirkuk file. She confirmed,
"Until now, Al Ja'fari's government ahs not taken
one practical step towards the reconstruction and
naturalization of conditions in Kirkuk, in addition
to the other Arabized regions in Kurdistan, within
the framework of the implementation of Article 58 of
the state administration code."
