Policemen claimed to rape in Bapkale
VAN, Kurdistan (Turkey) 30.Oct (DIHA) -
Nurettin Martı, who lives in Başkale Van argued that
he had been kidnapped by policemen and he was tried
to rape and that they forced him to work as a spy.
He applied to Başkale Office of the Director of
Public Prosecutions and wanted the responsible
people to be punished and justice provided.
In Karizan (Samandöken) District of Başkale, Martı
claimed that he was kidnapped by two policemen named
as K. and S. from Başkale Security Headquarter with
a black Opel on 24 October. He was taken to an open
field and forced to espionage. When he refused he
was taken to the traffic headquarters and tortured
and forced to rape, as he said. He applied to
Başkale Office of the Director of Public
Prosecutions and said:
'Despite the torture, I refused to spy for them.
They pulled off my trousers and threatened to rape
me. Then they gave up and beat me with pistols. They
intimidated to kill me. They wanted me to spy on PKK.
'They tried to take my money too'
He said that they also took the money that
charitable people gave him due to Ramadan. 'I was
going home, they had given me money as I am poor. I
had bought meat for my children for the first time.
They threw the bread and meat to the stream. They
took my 200 million liras. Then they took me to
somewhere near my house and told me not to tell
anyone about it or that they would kill my
children.' He said that he wanted justice.
HPG raids Turkish military station in Eruh: 20
dead
Kurdistan (Turkey), Oct 30 (DozaMe) - Kurdish
HPG guerrillas raided a Turkish military station at
20:30 (8:30 p.m. EEST) on Friday in Gundike Shex (Eren
Kaya) in the Eruh district of Siirt in Kurdistan
(southeastern Turkey) killing 20 Turkish soldiers.
According to a statement by the HPG Press and
Liaison Office (BIM), HPG units raided the military
station taking over all trenches, canals and guard
posts before moving into the buildings. About 70
soldiers and Village Guards were located in the
station at the moment of the raid.
20 Turkish soldiers were killed and an unknown
number of soldiers were wounded. One HPG guerrilla,
Aydin Altin, was martyred.
The raid was a retaliation for the isolation of the
Kurdish national leader Abdullah Ocalan and the
Turkish state's politics of annihilation against the
Kurdish people, the HPG stated.
