As part of the
development activities of the Kurdistan regional
ministries, the Ministry of Health has allocated the
amount of 701m Dinars to building a general hospital
in the Administrative Sub-district of Choman [in
Arbil province].
The hospital will be built on an area of 5,000
square meters using modern methods suited to the
weather conditions of the region.
It will be a class A hospital with surgery,
maternity and emergency sections. Eighty per cent of
the work has already been carried out.
