Senior CPC official
meets Kurdistan-Iraq guest
Wang Jiarui, head of the International Department of
the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central
Committee, met in Beijing Thursday with a delegation
of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) led by
Kosrat Rasul Ali, a member of the political bureau
of PUK.
Wang said the CPC attaches importance to developing
friendly relations with the PUK and hopes to further
increase cooperation between the two parties in
various respects.
Wang noted that China supports Iraq in its
reconstruction and is willing to make active efforts
for it. |
