Kurdistan Airlines launches direct flight between Arbil, Frankfurt 5.10.2005

FRANKFURT, Oct 5 (AFP) - 16h04 - Kurdistan Airlines has launched a direct flight between Frankfurt and Erbil, the capital of Iraqi-Kurdistan, the airline's local representative here said on Wednesday.

A once-weekly Monday flight was launched on September 19. But a second Thursday flight would be added from October 13, the agency said.

Kurdistan Airlines already operates a flight from Frankfurt to Suleimani via Dubai.
