Al-Qaeda linked Jordanian terrorist Abu Musab al-Zarqawi
is planning a terror attack that will overshadow the
strikes from September 11 in the United States,
German newspaper Tagesspiegel said.
The report cited a Kurd, an al-Zarqawi ally from
Ansar al-Sunna militant group, who has been seized
by the US forces.
The world will talk about the attack more than about
September 11, Al-Zarqawi, who has a reward of USD 25
M on his head, reportedly said during a meeting with
his allies prior to the US forces offensive in
Fallujah in November.
Experts say that al-Zarqawi, the most wanted
terrorist in Iraq, is recruiting cell members in
Britain and Europe, for attacks somewhere in Europe.
German authorities this month arrested three Iraqis
with links to Zarqawi on suspicion of planning an
attack on US-appointed Iraqi Prime Minister Iyad
Allawi during his visit to the country.
