Sunday 12.Dec. A car bomb on Sunday rocked Arbil,
a city in Iraq's relatively stable northern Kurdish
region, eyewitnesses said, wounding two people.
The attack was the first such in the city since 105
people were killed in two suicide attacks in
February this year.
Kak Amin Najjar, escaped
injury, Kurdish officials said. an AFP correspondent said.
Guerrillas also killed a security guard of the Iraqi
Northern Oil Company near one of its Kirkuk
oilfields early Sunday, according to company
official Maj. Hamoudi Abbas. No further details were
immediately available.
